At Villa España we believe that the responsible use of water is essential to protect ecosystems, biodiversity and ensure a more balanced future. For this reason, all our actions are aimed at reducing our water footprint, following the standards of the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance.

We have low-consumption taps, showers and toilets, systems that allow a more efficient use without sacrificing comfort. We have also implemented responsible cleaning policies, such as the optional change of sheets and towels, which helps to save water and reduce the use of chemical products.

Every small gesture adds up, and at Villa España we are committed to water management that is as respectful as it is efficient.

Energy efficiency is one of the priorities of our responsible tourism model. Our aim is to guarantee the wellbeing of our guests without compromising the planet's resources.

For this reason, we use low-consumption LED lighting, we make the most of natural light in our spaces and we apply programmable air-conditioning systems that adapt to the hours of actual use to avoid unnecessary consumption.

In addition, we are moving towards energy self-sufficiency with the installation of solar panels, which allows us to considerably reduce electricity consumption and CO₂ emissions per customer.

We also promote sustainable mobility by encouraging the use of electric vehicles and promote the use of local products to reduce our transport footprint.

At Hotel Villa España we say yes to digitalisation and no to unnecessary paper. We know that a single sheet of paper may not seem like much, but thousands a day have a huge impact on our forests and ecosystems.

We have implemented online check-in and offer digital delivery of documents from reception, minimising the use of paper from the very first moment of your experience. When paper is essential, we work with more sustainable materials and encourage the recycling of all the paper and cardboard we use.

Our goal is clear: to move towards a ‘zero paper’ environment in all our accommodation.

At Villa España, sustainability also has a human face. Magic Hotel Group collaborates with various local and international NGOs and associations that work for social welfare, especially in areas such as children, education, mental health and the fight against poverty.

We participate in projects such as the construction of schools and residences for children in vulnerable situations in Peru, the donation of medical equipment in Africa, and the inclusion of people with functional diversity in the workplace. We also support local initiatives such as the solidarity collection of materials or charity events together with organisations such as Caritas, Red Cross, HOPE, Doble Amor and many more.
